Private security missions and investigations are conducted within two special operations sections
The Executive Security Unit (ESU) and Force Protection Section (FPS) works cooperatively with other departments and external organizations and agencies to complete their missions.
Executive Security Unit (ESU)
Conducts all field operations. Takes security and risk mitigation measures to ensure the safety of VIPs or other individuals who may be exposed to elevated personal risk because of their employment, high-profile status, net worth, affiliations or geographical location. ESU Agents serve with excellence across a wide range of field operations, employing inter-departmental cooperation to achieve maximum results for our valuable clients.
Force Protection Section (FPS)
Prevents or mitigates hostile actions against personnel, resources, and facilities, to detect, deter, and defeat acts of terrorism, protect life, property, and the right of individuals, and to enforce rules, regulations, and statutes. Prevents crime against persons, property, and proprietary information. Maintains a safe and danger-free environment, so that people can conduct their daily business without fear. Conducts all background investigations for staff access and other initiatives. Staffs the Tactical Operations Center (TOC) for all field operations and is responsible for communications and communications security (COMSEC).
