PLEDGE – Our company pledges the following:
1. To write a sustainability mission statement for our company and share it with all our employees (if one does not already exist). The mission statement will include, but is not limited to, provisions specifically for environmental sustainability.
2. To establish a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy for our company and share it with all our employees and the public (if one does not already exist).
3. To set a minimum of two (2) company-level environmental sustainability goals, for reduction of Scope 1, 2 and/or 3 emissions. These goals will be published for public view along with annual progress reporting against them.
4. To consider becoming a member of CDP for reporting purposes on our company goals and progress. (https://www.cdp.net/en/guidance/guidance-for-companies ).
5. To consider earning ISO 14001 certification for our company.
6. To evangelize to and educate our current and potential customers about circular economy and environmental sustainability principles.
7. To help our customers identify ways to incorporate environmental sustainability practices into their business.
8. To support volunteer work or donations, by our employees or our company, to non-profits striving to build a healthier ecosystem or research initiatives for furthering environmental sustainability goals and efforts.
9. To support our employee actions that reduce their own and our company’s carbon footprint.
10. To support Cisco’s environmental sustainability goals and commitments through our company’s actions and messaging.
11. To provide to Cisco, upon request, objective evidence of the above commitments being met.
12. To disseminate information to general contractors (GCs), small to large businesses, on how to closer align with net zero construction and save lives and property with Green Steel Global Construction, Cisco sustainability technologies, and best practices.
